James and Brittany Kinkead
James and Brittany Kinkead have served as the lead Pastors since August 2022. James serves on the Alaska Church of God State Council and Brittany serves on the Alaska Church of God Women’s Board. Brittany also serves as the worship leader. They have seven beautiful children: Jaden, Collin, Christian, Jasmine, Eden, Levi, & Selah. After James retired from the Army in 2018, he and Brittany have served in the ministry in both Hawaii & Alaska. James served as the Associate Pastor at Abundant Life Ministries in Kalihi, Hawaii and the Associate Pastor at Newtown Church of God in Aiea, Hawaii. Brittany served as the Children’s Pastor and on the praise team at Abundant Life Ministries in Kalihi, Hawaii and the praise team at Newtown Church of God in Aiea, Hawaii. Their heart is to reach their community, the military families on JBER, and to be the hands and feet of Christ.
